What does the Six Sigma Green Belt online course entail?

The Six Sigma Green Belt online English course is all about “knowing through measuring”, making changes based on data and facts. That’s what Lean Six Sigma stands for: the power of numbers.
Over the course of two consecutive days, you’ll learn how to improve and optimize processes using data analysis, following the DMAIC structure. It’s important to note that Lean Six Sigma doesn’t rely solely on statistics, it also includes a range of other powerful tools.

Who is this course for?

The Six Sigma Green Belt is suitable for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of Six Sigma and/or build a solid foundation in statistics and Six Sigma in preparation for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
To participate effectively in the Six Sigma Green Belt, you should have previously completed a Lean Green Belt course.

The Six Sigma Green Belt online English course consists of four training modules, each lasting three hours.

What formats are available for this course?

In addition to the online Six Sigma Green Belt training, a classroom-based version is also available. All formats lead to the same qualification level.

The online English course consists of four live online sessions of three hours each. Following the DMAIC structure, you will learn how to improve and optimize processes using data analysis. In the Six Sigma component, we focus on measuring and analyzing processes to identify the true root causes of problems. This enables you to achieve meaningful results through targeted improvements and effective implementation. You will also learn how to secure the new process and how to help transform your organization into a learning organization, one where continuous improvement becomes second nature.

If you’re looking for a more holistic approach to process improvement with a focus on quality enhancement, Lean Six Sigma may be the better choice. If your primary goal is to increase efficiency, Lean alone may suffice.

Green Belt vs. Black Belt, what’s the difference and which is the best choice for me?

As a Green Belt, you’ll spend about 20% of your time identifying problems, implementing solutions, and optimizing processes, leaving plenty of room for other tasks. A Black Belt, on the other hand, dedicates more time to Lean Six Sigma, working on more complex problems and leading multiple improvement projects. Green Belts focus on solving issues within a single department, similar to a project manager’s responsibilities. Black Belts have broader responsibilities and take on leadership roles.

Is there an option to take the training in another language?

We offer training options in both Dutch and English.

Can I register without any prior knowledge?

No, to participate effectively in the Six Sigma Green Belt course, you must have previously completed a Lean Green Belt training.
